Warranty Administrator

Full Time, Permanent

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be the dealership’s warranty expert. Your reliable communication skills and eye for detail enable you to effectively identify and submit warranty claims through your communication with the technicians, customers, and warranty providers.


  • Processes customer invoices, identifies potential warranty claims, and submits said claims in a timely manner.

  • Maintain close communication with technicians to obtain information on repair orders and warranty claims.

  • Ensures claims are submitted accurately and according to policies set in place.

  • Communicate with customers about warranty coverage and claims in accordance with their vehicles and repair orders.

  • Responds and distributes telephone calls for the Service department as required.

  • Completes pre-delivery inspection (PDI) forms and related tasks when stock is added to dealership inventory.

  • Completes all applicable warranty registration cards on all engine(s).

  • Performs other applicable duties assigned by the Service Manager.


  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • At least two year's experience in customer service.

  • Experience in a previous Service/Warranty role is considered an asset.

  • Experience with shop management software (ie CDK, etc).

  • Knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-driven environment.

  • Good time management and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and organization.
