Truck Sales & Leasing Specialist

Full Time, Permanent

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the KWNL Truck Sales & Leasing Specialist will be responsible for generating leads and customers while providing the excellent customer service that we are known for. We have an immediate opening for a Truck Sales & Leasing Specialist for our Kenworth product line of Heavy and Medium Duty trucks. We are also a PACLEASE dealer providing truck rentals and full maintenance leases, as well as the regional dealer for Everest Snow Clearing Equipment and Fontaine Commercial Trailers. This position is based out of our Mount Pearl location and will cover the entirety of Newfoundland and Labrador, having the opportunity to sell all the above listed product lines.

Job Description

​Reporting to the Sales Manager, the KWNL Truck Sales & Leasing Specialist will be responsible for generating leads and customers while providing the excellent customer service that we are known for. While coordinating with the Sales Manager, you will be reaching out to potential customers, responding to sales inquires with the necessary information, creating marketing content for our inventory, and consistently reviewing any government or municipal tenders that may arise. Applicant will responsible to answer phone calls, build truck specs, conduct both warm and cold calling, arrange meetings with potential and existing customers, sell warranty packages, and follow the sales process through from beginning to end. In order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the position, the Salesperson must be detail oriented, well organized, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work as part of a team as well as independently on delegated tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a direct point of contact for Kenworth NL truck sales, leasing, and rentals

  • Generate leads using cold calls and current service customers; track leads and create customer profiles

  • Create marketing content, build truck specs, and photo gallery of inventory

  • Prepare invoices for Kenworth NL new and used sales, ownership and licensing documents, and file all expenses for truck deal analysis, etc.

  • Sell extended warranty packages and other add-ons we offer

  • Coordinate with the Service and Parts departments to see a truck sale through from beginning to end; including any accessories, and get-ready work orders

  • Ensure inventory is always operable

Qualifications

  • Outgoing, vocal, friendly personality with genuine care for customers’ experience as well as needs and concerns

  • Qualified candidates will possess High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a post-secondary Degree/ Diploma would be an asset

  • Previous sales experience is a must; experience in truck/equipment/vehicle sales in particular would be an asset

  • Class 5 license is required; Class 8 and/or Class 9 license is an asset

  • Previous experience in handling confidential information

  • Strong organizational, time management, multitasking and communication skills; as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
