Service Advisor
Full Time, Permanent, Night Shift
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be the dealership’s front-line client relations and service representative. Your reliable communication skills enable you to explain vehicle diagnosis and provide your expertise based on your communication with the technicians. We are hiring a Service Advisor for the night shift (4 PM - Midnight).
Responsibilities

Determine equipment and vehicle problems and services by listening to customer's description of symptoms and clarifying description of problems.

Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.

Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.

Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates and answering questions and concerns.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver's license.

At least two year's experience in customer service.

Experience in a previous Service Advisor role is considered an asset.

Experience with shop management software (ie CDK, etc).

Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in a team-driven environment.

Good time management and problem-solving skills.
